Upstairs, a TV lounge with HD TV, log burner and beautiful views provides a cosy place to snuggle up after a day on the coast. A second lounge area opens out onto a balcony with great wildlife views across a pond, to the sunsets beyond. We keep our bird-feeder fully stocked and attract a range of native birds, watch out for Red Kites in the sky above and swallows skimming the pond in summer. Downstairs a small sunroom provides a nice reading area off the single bedroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped to be a home from home, with granite worktops, an induction hob and separate mid level oven. High ceilings and lots of windows provide great natural light, with a dining area looking out over the old mill pond. Eco-friendly design, with power provided by photo voltaics and underfloor heating from an air source heat pump, mean the whole cottage combines comfort with minimal environmental impact.
The private Swedish sauna with adjoining shower wet room is perfect for soothing aching legs after a long walk along the coastal path, or warming up after a blustery stroll in the Preseli hills.
The bathroom is found alongside the master bedroom and has a luxurious whirlpool bath.
The groundfloor master bedroom has a handmade luxury king size canopy bed and views across the surrounding fields. A second cozy single bedroom has an adjoining sunroom area
What our customers have to say about Stable on Trip Advisor, Airbnb and in our guestbooks
If you fancy a relaxing holiday this would take some beating. Set in a beautiful valley, and so quiet. The accommodation is very good, and it has to be a unique design. The Preseli hills are all around you and 3 miles to the coast. Went up Foel Eryr what a view.
Phillip KSep 2017What a beautiful cottage in a picturesque setting, we enjoyed coastal walks and just sight-seeing. It’s very peaceful and just what we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer, we would recommend St David’s Kitchen in St David’s and the Cambrian Inn in Solva for good food. Thank you.
Jodeen and AnthonyMar 2017Most comfortable and cosy setting we could have hoped for. When we could tear ourselves from watching the birds and squirrels on the balcony, we enjoyed visiting local villages and exploring the coastal path. Recommend beach at Stackpole estate and walk. Best place to eat for us to eat this week was the Shed, at Porthgain. Beautiful setting and the best fish and chips ever!
