Dovecote is fantastic, we had great fun watching the bird life from the sun room even when it wasn’t sunny. Ken was amazing when we needed help midweek – thank you Ken! Feed the birds you won’t regret it and watch out for the woodpeckers. One of the best holiday cottages we’ve been in so far, all the little touches are fabulous, thank you.
Sam and AndyMar 2017It’s easy to understand why Dovecote gets such good reviews. It’s location in working farm in the midst of the Welsh country side is lovely. The local landscaping is wildlife friendly. Any pond is an asset and Dovecote has 2. We saw Jays, a willow warbler, buzzards, a woodpecker and a nuthatch in the first 15 minutes. A highlight has to be the double spa bath. The local valley walk is wonderful. The woodlands are barely touched. Strumble Head and Dinas Island are really accessible. The rental price is very reasonable.
Ian SApr 2018Last minute booking took 6 and a half hours to reach destination, worth every mile travelled. Cottage was beautiful had everything you could ask for, arrived feeling very stressed left feeling very refreshed and chilled. Due to the weather (very wet) we spent a lot of our break at the cottage, was a haven of peace. .... the log burner, spa bath, kitchen a joy to cook in, wonderful bird life, very timid black cat that we tried to befriend with no luck.......Will definitely return for longer next time and explore more of the Pembrokeshire Coast and pray for better weather. Did not want to leave xx
