  • A massive thank you for the bottle of Cava and for the most beautiful cottage, we’ve had an amazing and relaxing stay, it was perfectly romantic. This place is the perfect base to discover the surrounding area, the Jacuzzi bath definitely eases the muscles after the long walks. If you’re a big Harry Potter fan, you need to see the location where dobby was buried in the movie at Freshwater West! Strumble Head lighthouse at sunset, where Vince proposed and I said Yes!! We will definitely be back.

  • We have just spent a lovely relaxing weekend at The Dovecote. The wood burning fire and underfloor heating ensured the cottage was a warm and comfortable place to spend a long weekend. A chilled bottle in fridge on arrival and complimentary toiletries were a nice gesture. The outlook onto the gardens and surrounding countryside areas were outstanding. The icing on the cake was our time spent in the sun/garden room. A lovely start to the day, with a coffee, watching the wildlife. Becoming an oasis of calm of an evening, chilling in the spa bath by tea light, sipping a glass of wine, easing aching muscles. Bliss! Highly recommend, and would love to visit again.

  • My husband and I had a magical few days at the Dovecote. It is very cosy with peaceful views. Especially liked the underfloor heating, spa bath, log fire, and listening to the rain on the roof at night time. There are some very cheeky Tamworth piglets in the field that enjoy chasing the sheep! We saw dozens of seal pups and their parents at White Sands. They are there from late August-October and worth a visit.
