Why not relax in the double spa in the Dovecote or sit on the deck watching the local wildlife? Our unique character cottage provides the perfect retreat, with stunning coastal and moorland hikes, beautiful beaches and quaint Welsh villages on the doorstep.

Dovecote Cilgelynen

The Dovecote at Cilgelynen is an imaginatively converted detached stone barn packed with unique character features. It has been designed to be a comfortable home from home with an emphasis on luxury and romance. It has a spacious, well equipped kitchen and dining area, a cosy lounge and a stunning conservatory sun room. A hand crafted oak staircase leads you up to an en-suite mezzanine bedroom with four poster bed. It is set in a beautifully landscaped garden with spring fed ponds and stream, and commands splendid views over the surrounding countryside.

  • If you fancy a relaxing holiday this would take some beating. Set in a beautiful valley, and so quiet. The accommodation is very good, and it has to be a unique design. The Preseli hills are all around you and 3 miles to the coast. Went up Foel Eryr what a view.

  • Set in a rural location with lovely views over the surrounding farmland and naturally landscaped pond. The cottage is beautifully presented with a great deal of character. It is ideal place to unwind! Some nice touches include the spa bath, sauna and small balcony with a bird feeder - which had plenty of visitors! The coast is within easy reach - only about a 10 minute drive. Would thoroughly recommend.

  • We came to the Dovecote to celebrate Jen’s 30th birthday and relax for a few days. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect retreat. The Jacuzzi and log fire were ideal, the cottage and surroundings are beautiful and tranquil. Thank you for making such a welcoming space, the finishing touches make it feel special.
