Our unique character cottage provides the perfect retreat, with stunning coastal and moorland hikes, beautiful beaches and quaint Welsh villages on the doorstep.

Dovecote Cilgelynen

The Dovecote at Cilgelynen is an imaginatively converted detached stone barn packed with unique character features. It has been designed to be a comfortable home from home with an emphasis on luxury and romance. It has a spacious, well equipped kitchen and dining area, a cosy lounge and a stunning conservatory sun room. A hand crafted oak staircase leads you up to an en-suite mezzanine bedroom with four poster bed. It is set in a beautifully landscaped garden with spring fed ponds and stream, and commands splendid views over the surrounding countryside.

  • A massive thank you for the bottle of Cava and for the most beautiful cottage, we’ve had an amazing and relaxing stay, it was perfectly romantic. This place is the perfect base to discover the surrounding area, the Jacuzzi bath definitely eases the muscles after the long walks. If you’re a big Harry Potter fan, you need to see the location where dobby was buried in the movie at Freshwater West! Strumble Head lighthouse at sunset, where Vince proposed and I said Yes!! We will definitely be back.

  • Had the most wonderful week weather was kind for that time of year only really on the night did it get bad but that just made it more cosy with the fire and under floor heating and soaking in the hot tub after exploring the coastal routes and the castles couldn't ask for better thankyou x
